Fine Art Store: The Collections

A work of fine art is more than just an asset; it tells a lasting story. Kevin G. Saunders‘ collections at KGS Studios are the result of years of dedication to capturing the true character of each subject, whether it’s the precise shape of a rare orchid or the rich history of a community through architecture or portraits.

Each piece reflects a commitment to hyperrealistic art and is made to last for generations. Browse the collections below to find a work that can become part of your own legacy.

The Kevin G. Saunders Fine Art Orchid Collection: A Study in Natural Perfection

A curated trio of KGS Studios hyperrealistic orchid portraits, featuring a plant, a bloom, and a bloom close-up, displayed in a clean gallery setting.
This collection is the result of years of dedication. It tells the story of an orchid in three ways: showing the whole plant’s shape, highlighting the bloom’s details, and offering a close-up that reveals its true character.

This collection comes from years spent exploring “Orchidomania” or “Orchidelirium,” the historic passion for rare flowers. Each of the more than 100 fine art prints is created using a special process that blends over 100 high-res photos, producing a striking, three-dimensional effect that surpasses standard photography. The result is a modern take on a classic subject, inspired by artists like John Singer Sargent, but with a new, hyperrealistic style that shows every detail of each bloom.

The World Heritage Missions Collection: A Legacy of Texas Heritage

Grand scale hyperrealistic print of Mission San José in San Antonio, part of the KGS Studios UNESCO World Heritage Art Collection.
Mission San José, the “Queen of the Missions,” was captured at the moment of its induction as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2015.

This collection serves as a cultural time capsule, showcasing San Antonio’s five Missions at a unique moment in their history, following their designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. It preserves a view of our shared history before renovations changed it forever. Owning a piece from this collection is a way to help protect local heritage.
